Herderite, Topaz, Felspar var. Microcline -  Braldu valley, Skardu District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan Prix: 80,00 € Très jolie pièce présentant un crystal d'herderite transparent et d'un beau vert, sur un également beau cristal de microcline aux arrêtes bien nettes et lustre glacé. En plus de l'herderite, se trouvent également un cristal de topaze, ainsi que de la muscovite et quelques petits cristaux noirs d'un minéral appartenant à la série columbite-tantalite. Ceux-ci sont endommagés, et l'arrière du microcline est irrégulier (non-visible de puis la face exposée). Here is a beautifull specimen featuring a transparent herderite crystal of a nicely saturated green color, on a sharp & glossy microcline crystal. Along the herderite are also a topaz crystal, some muscovite and a few remnants of some black mineral sprays, belonging to the columbite-tantalite series. Backside of the microcline is rough, but the specimen faces neat. Une dizaine d'autres cristaux plus petits sont également présents (une loupe est nécessaire pour observer une partie d'entre eux, de la taille du mm), et à la base du specimen se trouve un groupe de tourmalines aux tons verts, bleu-verts, bleus et violets. Here is a beautifull specimen featuring two crystals of green herderite, showing the fishtail twinning typical of the species. About a dozen of smaller crystals are also present here and there (some need a 10x lens to be observed), and at the base of the specimen is a group of tourmaline crystals of green, blue-green, blue et violet colors. Cerise sur le gâteau, à la base du specimen se trouve un groupe de petits cristaux d'anatase, transparents et d'une flamboyante couleur orangée. Pour autant que je sache il s'agit de la première découverte d'anatase dans le Gilgit-Baltistan. Coming from a late 2009 find, here is a nice specimen featuring an hemispherical agragate of ilemnite platellets on a matrix covered with transparent albite crystals of a quite rare quality, although small (Note : this is not about ultra-common cleavelandite !). As a cherry on the cake, at the base of the specimen is found a group of small anatase crystals, transparent of a firey orange color. As far as I know this is the very first anatase find in Gilgit-Baltistan. Un petit cristal d'apatite rose & transparent, ainsi que quelques petits cristaux d'anatase, transparents et d'une superbe orange flamboyant. Pour autant que je sache il s'agit de la première découverte d'anatase au Gilgit-Baltistan. Coming from a late 2009 find, here is a nice specimen featuring a group of small ilmenite roses on a matrix covered with transparent albite crystals of a quite rare quality, although small (Note : this is not about ultra-common cleavelandite !). A small gemmy & pink-hued apatite crystal is visible right under the main ilmenite cluster, and downward on the same axis is a gorup of tiny anatase crystal, of a beautifull firey orange color. As far as I know this is the very first anatase occurence in Gilgit-Baltistan. Juste au dessus de l'agrégat d'ilménite se trouve un petit cristal d'apatite transparent et de teinte très légèrement rosée, et un autre plus violacé, à la case de l'agrégat d'ilménite. Pour finir, la face arrière de la pièce montre la matrice nue, mais constellée de plus d'une dizaine de petits cristaux d'anatase, transparents et d'une flamboyante couleur orange. Pour autant que je sache il s'agit de la première découverte d'anatase au Gilgit-Baltistan. Above the ilmenite agregate is one small apatite crystal, transparent and of a light pinkish hue, and another purplish-pink one is located at the base of same cluster. Backside of the specimen show naked matrix, but doted with about a dozen of gemmy anatase crystals of a beautifull firey orange color. As far as I know this is the very first anatase occurence in Gilgit-Baltistan. Dimensions : 2,11cm x 1,19cm x 3,67cm Voir mon panier Titanite, Mica var; Clinochlore - Tormiq nala, Skardu district, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan Prix: 25,00 € Joli cristal vert-pomme de titanite, sur matrice partiellement recouverte de clinoclore. A l'arrière de la pièce se trouve un cristal plus grand, dont l'une des terminaisons est légèrement ébréchée. Un petit cristal de calcite, et environ une vingtaine de petits cristaux de titanite dispersé sur le pourtour du specimen complètent le tout. Veryncie apple-green titanite crystal on a matrix partially covered with clinocholore. On the back of the specimen is a larger titanite crystal, although with a bruised termination. A small colorless calcite crystal and about 20 small titanite crystal dispersed on the specimen complete the whole thing.
