En provenance d'une localité peu connue (l'extraction a repris il y a environ 2 ans, après plusieurs années de quasi-sommeil), voici un crystal d'émeraude sur sa matrice. De clarté variable (quelques petits zones sont transparentes, sinon translucide à opaque), il est veiné par endroit de calcite blanche et est d'un beau vert intense, bien saturé. Les terminaisons sont contactées et montrent une cristallisation irrégulière.
From a rather little-known locality (extraction as resumed after several years of near-sleep), here comes a nice emerald crystal on matrix. Its clarity ranges from opaque to translucent, with a few small gem areas, and the color is of a beautifull well saturated deep green, contrasting with white calcite veins. Terminations are contacted, but show a crude crystalisation under x10 lens.
